Belmar Offers Options To Seniors For Buying Beach Badges

In an effort to protect seniors, Belmar is offering two options for purchasing senior seasonal beach badges.

BELMAR – In an effort to protect seniors, Belmar is offering the following two options for purchasing senior seasonal beach badges.

Option 1:

Effective Friday, May 8th through Tuesday, May 12th, you can call 732-312-4841 to make an appointment to purchase a badge at 601 Main Street between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Appointments will be scheduled in 15-minute intervals.

Upon arrival, use the 6th Avenue entrance. An area will be set up to purchase your badge. Proper ID showing proof of age, 65 or older, must be presented.

Cash (exact change), check and credit card will be accepted.

Each person must have ID or multiple ID’s must be presented to purchase multiple badges.

Option 2:

You can visit Taylor Pavilion, 500 Ocean Ave., on May 13th and 14th between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. to purchase a badge in person with proof of age. Must be 65 or older. Each person must have ID or multiple ID’s must be presented to purchase multiple badges.

Senior Seasonal Badges are $30 per badge.

Social Distancing must be practiced and wearing a mask is encouraged during pickup and purchase times.

If you are unable to purchase your senior badge using one of these two options all badge sales will be at Taylor Pavilion beginning May 16th and through the remainder of the summer.
