Belmar St. Patrick's Day Parade Canceled Due To COVID-19
The Belmar Lake Como St. Patrick's Day Parade, one of New Jersey's most popular, was canceled because of the coronavirus.

BELMAR – The Belmar Lake Como St. Patrick's Day Parade, one of New Jersey's most popular, was canceled for 20201 because of the coronavirus.
"Unfortunately but not surprisingly, the 2021 parade cannot be held due to COVID-19," organizers wrote on Facebook.
Organizers said the parade committee is exploring options for other types of celebrations this season "so stay tuned for updates."

"Thank you as always for your support," organizers said.
Last year's parade took place just as the coronavirus pandemic was hitting the country.
