Coastal Monmouth County Beach Report For June 3, 2017
It's cloudy now, but the sun is expected by the end of the day. Surf temperatures are still chilly.

The National Weather Service is calling for partly sunny skies with a chance of scattered showers.
Air temperatures will be in the low 70s, with winds from the west at around 10 miles per hour.
Wave heights have dropped considerably from the past week, at around two feet, with southeast swells of two feet. The surf temperature is still a chilly 60 degrees.
There's a low risk of rip currents today, but they can still occur near jetties and other structures. The NWS suggests you always bring a flotation device with you in the water.

The ultraviolet index is a 4, which the NWS considers moderate. There is no lightning threat.
Low tide at Belmar occured at 9:38 a.m. High tide will arrive 3:50 p.m. , followed by another low tide at 10:45 p.m.
