MANASQUAN – When people are home in quarantine, the deer apparently see it as an opporunity.

And they're doing what we would do: They're going to the beach.

Local residents and The Asbury Park Press captured the deer as they frolicked in the water and on the sand this past week.

Billi Jo Murphy, 51 of Point Pleasant visited the beach at sunrise and told The Press: "I couldn't believe it at first. I thought they were coming right at me."
