Monmouth DWI Checkpoint Slated For Friday Night Through Early Saturday Morning

Operation will be conducted by Monmouth County DWI Task Force, Brielle Police Chief Says

The Monmouth County DWI Task force will conduct a DWI checkpoint on Route 35 starting at 10 p.m. on Friday to detect drivers under the influence of alcohol and or drugs.

The checkpoint will run until 2 a.m. Saturday, said Brielle Police Chief Michael W. Palmer, the task force coordinator.

Task force members and officers from the Ocean Township Police Department will pull vehicles from the northbound lanes off the Asbury Circle to determine driver’s sobriety, he said.
