Fundraising Cut-a-Thon for Grief Center

Salon Baraka in Brielle will join with the Common Ground Grief Center in Manasquan for a fundraising cut-a-thon from noon to 4 p.m. June 3. 

New York Jets great Joe Klecko will sign autographs and take pictures from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the center's 67 Taylor Ave. location.

Haircuts are $20 and manicures will be offered for $10. All proceeds benefit the center, a nonprofit that provides ongoing bereavement support groups for kids and teens who have experienced the death of a family member, caregiver or friend.

The fundraiser will include food, music, a gift auction, face painting, henna, temporary tattoos and more.
