Gov. Christie Remembers Hurricane Sandy Impact Two Years Later

The governor spoke at an assembly about how the storm affected the New Jersey community.

Gov. Chris Christie spoke to the people of Belmar on Wednesday, reminiscing on the after effects of Hurricane Sandy on its community.

“It seems like so long ago, and that just talks about how difficult the struggle has been for all of us,” Christie said. “Time doesn’t move as quickly as we might like it to, but we need to continue to hold hands together, to work hard together, and to show the strength and the resilience that we have in this state to make sure that everybody who needs help gets help.”
