Manasquan Announces Beach Opening Plan Phase 2: Beach Walk Opens

MANASQUAN – Manasquan officials announced that the town is starting phase two of its beach reopening plan, and that includes reopening the beach walk on Monday.

Manasquan announced the steps the town is taking:

Important Dates for Phase 2

• June 1st
  • The beach walk and inlet walk will open
• June 6th & 7th
  • The beach will be open and parking lots will be open
  • Daily Badges will be sold at beach openings
  • Daily Parking Passes will be sold on site at parking lots
• June 13th – Manasquan Beach Officially Open for the Season

Beach Amenities

• Showers and Water Fountains will be installed in traditional locations throughout Phase 2 will all being fully operational on June 13th
• Playgrounds remain closed until further notice
• Bathroom facilities
  • Main Beach restroom will remain closed during the week until June 13th
  • Brielle Road bathrooms will be open daily beginning on June 8th 9am-5pm
  • June 13th – All restroom will open daily 8am to Dusk

Season Badges and Season Parking Passes

• Season Badge Sales – Resume June 8th online via Community Pass
• Season Badge Pickup – All pre-purchased parking passes and season beach badges will be available for pickup at the beach office, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. daily beginning on June 13th
• Season Parking Passes – The remaining season parking passes will be sold in person on Tuesday, June 9th at 8 a.m. at the Manasquan Beach Office (205 Beachfront). Please note the following:
  • Purchase will be limited to one per person and there are a limited number available for sale. GUESTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO BRING A COPY OF THEIR VEHICLE REGISTRATION WHICH SHALL ALSO INCLUDE PURCHASER NAME AND A VALID TELEPHONE NUMBER & EMAIL ADDRESS THAT WILL BE COLLECTED BY A STAFF MEMBER.
  • Guests will receive an invoice via Community Pass requesting payment. Once payment is received the order will be processed and an email will be sent to the purchaser when the order is ready. Purchases may be picked up at the beach office during business hours. PLEASE CREATE A COMMUNITY PASS ACCOUNT PRIOR TO THE SALE DATE TO FACILITATE PROCESSING.
