Manasquan: If You Violate Coronavirus Orders, You Will Be Charged

Manasquan issued a warning to anyone who is violating the stay-at-home orders amid the coronavirus outbreak.

MANASQUAN – Manasquan police have issued a warning to anybody who violates the stay-at-home orders issued amid the coronavirus outbreak.

You will be charged.

"At any point that you are in violation of a borough ordinance or commit a crime, you will be charged accordingly," officials said.

The beachwalk, inlet walkway, and all parks in town – including the Little League Complex – are closed until further notice, officials said.

"There shall be no one in the parks at ANY time. The inlet walkway being closed means no walking or fishing from the sidewalk," the borough said.

You are allowed to exercise or go to the food stores, but everyone "shall remember that social distancing is absolutely paramount during times like this and will be enforced."

"Please stay safe and positive during these times! We will come back stronger!" officials said.
