Manasquan Releases Graduation Information

MANASQUAN – Manasquan is planning to hold in-person graduations now that Gov. Phil Murphy has allowed the state to do so. Details were released on what the district is planning to do.
The in-person high school graduation will be held on July 13 at 6 p.m., with a rain date on July 14.
The 8th-grade graduation will be held at 6 p.m. on July 15, with a rain date of July 15.
Both will be held on the football field.

Superintendent Frank Kasyan said two tickets per gradate for guests will be provided.

- All graduates will receive their cap and gown with a Manasquan face covering/mask delivered to their home the week prior to the graduation ceremony.
- To meet the relevant capacity limitation on in-person gatherings in place at the time of the ceremony, no more than two tickets can be provided per graduate. The CDC and state guidelines will be adhered to.
- The ceremonies will be live streamed to the district’s YouTube channel.
- All graduates are to report in cap and gown to the Atlantic Avenue entrance of Manasquan High School one hour prior to the ceremony time.
- All graduates and guests are required to wear their face covering during all parts of the ceremony and maintain social distancing.
- According to CDC guidelines, please take your temperature before coming to the ceremony. Anyone whose temperature is above 100 degrees or exhibiting any symptoms of illness should not be attending.
- Seating areas for guests in the bleachers will be marked and spaced accordingly. Handicapped seating will also be available on the field. (Please notify us in advance of handicapped seating requests via email to graduation@manasquan.k12.nj.us.)
- Following the recessional of graduates from the field, guests from the stands will be dismissed in sections. To limit contact between persons and families, the district encourages all graduates and guests to leave the campus immediately after the ceremony.
