MANASQUAN – The district has decided to withdraw the Manasquan boys basketball team from the NJSIAA tournament and, therefore, the group's semifinal game was cancelled.

This decision was made in consultation with the school physician and "we felt it was the most appropriate step to keep our students as safe as possible," the district said.

Spring athletic practices and games will continue as scheduled.
