Monmouth County Beach Report: Sunny Skies, Cool Temperatures On Tap For Today

Rip current risk drops to moderate, wave heights will be 2 to 3 feet.

The National Weather Service is calling for sunny skies with a moderate risk of rip currents at Monmouth County beaches, a much better forecast than the last several days.

If you can find a guarded beach, be sure to check with local beach patrols before heading in. Never swim on an unguarded beach, and never swim alone or at night. The NWS suggests you always bring a flotation device with you in the water.
