Monmouth County DUI Checkpoint Slated For Friday Into Saturday
The DWI Task Force will pull drivers from the northbound lane of Route 35 to check for alcohol or drug use.
The Monmouth County DWI Task force will conduct a DWI checkpoint to detect drivers under the influence of alcohol and or drugs from 11 p.m. on Friday through 3 a. m. Saturday, Brielle Police Chief Michael W. Palmer said.
Task force members and officers from the Neptune City Police Department will pull vehicles from the northbound lanes into the Sunoco station parking lot at Steiner Avenue to determine driver’s sobriety, said Palmer, who is the task force coordinator.
