MANASQUAN – The Osprey Nightclub has decided that it won't even dare to give summer a try this year. The Osprey announced that it's closing this summer because of the expected restrictions amid the coronavirus outbreak. "Due to the expected reduction in capacity and the restrictions already in place as to social distancing, it is with much regret that the Osprey will not open for the 2020 summer season," the club announced on Facebook "Again, this is heartbreaking for all, but with a positive thought......we will be back to normal in 2021 to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Osprey!" NJ Advance Media reported that legend has it that Jack Nicholson, who is from Neptune, <a href="https://www.nj.com/news/2012/11/ortley_beach_surf_club_sandy.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">worked there</a>.
