Police Investigating Possible 'Human Remains' Found at Farmingdale Recycling Site
Workers called State Police Tuesday after the discovery of what could be "human remains," police have confirmed.

Authorities were investigating “what could be human remains” discovered at a Farmingdale Recycling Plant on Tuesday, State Police officials have confirmed.
State Police responded to the scene at approximately 1:30 p.m. after receiving word about the possible discovery at JFD Recycling on Railroad Avenue, said Sgt. Jeff Flynn of the State Police.
State Police officers could be seen on the scene with a stretcher and carrying a small black bag out of the recycling center and into a waiting mini-van.

Flynn said the New Jersey State Police Major Crimes Unit, as well as State Police officers from the Fort Monmouth station, responded to the scene and were handling the report and investigation.
