Police: Man Fled Officers, Swallowed Heroin in Bradley Beach

Neptune resident held on $25,000 bail after being arrested outside borough court

A Neptune man will appear in Superior Court March 22 after authorities said he brought heroin to the Bradley Beach Borough Court.

Stanley L. Niblack, 50, of 10th Avenue was arrested March 8 and accused of fleeing officers and trying to destroy what police believed to be heroin, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.

Niblack was being searched in the Bradley Beach municipal building when he removed wax folds of heroin from a court property bin and left the building, according to a complaint filed with the prosecutor's office. Police ordered him to halt several times but Niblack continued to flee and swallowed the heroin folds as authorities tried to take him into custody, the complaint states.
