After much discussion, the Borough Council has allocated $12,000 in the proposed capital budget for the purchase of a video scheduler that would enable it to air meeting footage on Cablevision channel 77 and Verizon channel 28. There's been questions about sound and video quality, although the administration and Cable Advisory Committee expect to satisfy concerns before footage is aired. Mayor George Dempsey has said money should not be spent on the video scheduler until production issues are satisfied. We want to know what you think. Is it worth the money to air public meetings on local television? Would you be more inclined to tune in if you didn't have to go to town hall in person? Should the Borough Council just not bother?  Vote in the poll and leave your comments below!
