QOTD: Should Manasquan Televise Public Meetings?

After much discussion, the Borough Council has allocated $12,000 in the proposed capital budget for the purchase of a video scheduler that would enable it to air meeting footage on Cablevision channel 77 and Verizon channel 28.

There's been questions about sound and video quality, although the administration and Cable Advisory Committee expect to satisfy concerns before footage is aired. Mayor George Dempsey has said money should not be spent on the video scheduler until production issues are satisfied.
