The National Weather Service is calling waves of up to 6 to 7 feet, with southerly swells of 4 to 7 feet. There's a moderate risk of rip currents today, so swim only on guarded beaches. Never swim alone or at night. The NWS suggests you always bring a flotation device in the water. The surf temperature is still a chilly 66 degrees.
Skies will be mostly cloudy until around 1 p.m., with showers likely, then becoming mostly sunny in the afternoon. Highs will be in the lower 80s. Winds will be from the west at 15 miles per hour.

High tide at Belmar rolled in 8:03 a.m. Low tide will arrive at 2:03 p.m., followed by another high tide at 8:21 p.m.
