Search Suspended For Possible Bridge Jumper In Belmar
Police found a parked car on the Route 35 Bridge early Saturday morning.

Police and the U.S. Coast Guard are investigating who left a car parked on the Route 35 Bridge around 2:45 a.m. Saturday, but suspended the search for a possible jumper on Saturday afternoon. according to nj.com.
The person may have jumped into the Shark River early Saturday morning, but a search of the area for most of the day on Saturday turned up nothing, Mayor Matthew Doherty said.
The search began soon after the car was found early in the morning, Doherty said.
