The Mayor and Borough Council meeting scheduled for Wednesday will begin a half-hour earlier than normal, official said Thursday. The meeting, scheduled for 6 p.m. at town hall, 601 Main St., will instead start at 5:30 p.m., to allow time for the Belmar Elementary School students to hold their youth government mock meeting, according to a notice from the borough. The regularly scheduled meeting will follow, the notice says.
