Two DWI Checkpoints Coming Up In Monmouth County On Friday And Saturday
One checkpoint will be held in Eatontown on Friday, the other will be held in Belmar on Saturday.

The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will conduct two DWI checkpoints over the next several days to detect drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs, said Brielle Police Chief Michael W. Palmer, the task force coordinator.
The first checkpoint will be held from 10 p.m. on Friday through 2 a.m. on Saturday on Route 36 in Eatontown.
Task force members and Eatontown police department will pull vehicles from the westbound lanes into the Motor Vehicle Divisions parking lot to determine drivers' sobriety, Palmer said.

The second checkpoint will be held on Route 35 South in Belmar from 10 p.m. on Saturday until 2 a.m. on Sunday.
Task force members and Belmar police officers will pull vehicles from the southbound lanes into the Maclearie Park parking lot, to conduct sobriety checks, Palmer said.
