MANASQUAN – The East Main Street project was slated to begin this week. The project has been awarded to Meco, Inc., with work to begin on or about March 9. The project is expected to be completed on or about June 5 and will require periodic closings of thru-traffic on East Main Street during the workday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. During these closures, traffic will be detoured to Stockton Lake Boulevard and Brielle Road. No work will take place on weekends, Good Friday or Memorial Day.
