Man, 22, Killed As SUV Hits Dump Truck In Manchester
Both vehicles caught fire after the crash and the flames spread to a grass field nearby, Manchester police said.

MANCHESTER, NJ — A 22-year-old Manchester man was killed Monday afternoon in a crash between an SUV and a dump truck on Pasadena Road, Manchester police said Tuesday.
Jack P. Lisowsky was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened about 2:10 p.m. near Mount Misery Road, Manchester Capt. Albert Vega said.
Lisowsky was driving a silver 2023 Toyota Highlander southeast on Pasadena Road when his vehicle crossed the center line and hit a red 2023 Kenworth dump truck driven northeast on Pasadena by Stacy W. Clay, 51, of Toms River, Vega said. Clay told responders she had pain in her lower body and she was taken to a hospital.

The impact caused the Highlander to turn over and it came to rest on its roof facing west on the grass shoulder of southeast Pasadena Road, he said. The dump truck continued to travel northeast and left the road, hitting several trees before coming to a rest with the front end against a tree.
Both vehicles caught fire, and the fire spread to a large portion of the wooded area near the crash site, Vega said, including a grass field, prompting a large fire department response.

The road was closed for several hours.
Patrolman Conner Yatauro is investigating the crash, but the preliminary investigation indicated failure to maintain lane was the primary factor in the crash, Vega said.
