MANCHESTER, NJ — Authorities are investigating a crash that involved a Manchester Township school bus and another vehicle on Monday.

Video of the crash shared by the Lakewood Scoop on social media shows the collision from the dash cam of the second vehicle involved.

The 8-second dash cam video, stamped Monday afternoon shortly before 4 p.m., shows the second vehicle driving down a street in Manchester when the school bus appears from the left, appearing to run the stop sign. The impact causes the engine bus of the hood to pop open and both vehicles stop.

The driver of the second vehicle was hospitalized, the Lakewood Scoop reported.

A request for information from the Manchester Township Police Department late Wednesday afternoon was not immediately answered.

Manchester Township Schools officials declined to comment on the incident.

"The Manchester Township School District cannot provide any comment or information regarding personnel matters and/or situations under police investigation," said Dina Silvestri, a district spokeswoman.
