An unknown suspect tried to enter the residence – but was scared away by the homeowner's dog, authorities said.
MAPLEWOOD, NJ — A dog recently scared off a home intruder in Maplewood, police say.
According to the Maplewood Police Department, officers responded to a home on South Crescent after getting a report about suspicious activity on Jan. 28.
After investigating, the officers determined that an unknown suspect tried to enter the home – but was scared away by the homeowner’s dog, authorities said.
