Maplewood Announces Leaf Pick-Up Schedule

The Maplewood Department of Public Works will begin leaf pick throughout the township starting the week of October 22. The schedule is below; to locate your section of town, check the Map on the DPW website.

During the week of October 15, leaf piles will be collected in all sections of town until regular pick ups begin on the 22nd.

What you need to know:

• Weather or equipment failure might cause delays in pick ups, but not by more than one or two days.
• If the department is ahead of schedule you might notice an early pick up, but they will return during your scheduled week.
• Do not put leaves in the street more than seven (7) days before your scheduled week begins.
• Do not put leaves in the street after the Sunday before your last scheduled pick up week.
• Do not put in branches with the leaves; the township might leave behind leaves if branches are found in the pile.
