Maplewood Wellness Center Hosts Grand Opening
Visitors can sample variety of health classes and workshops
Wellspring Health Collective, a family health and wellness center, will host a Grand Opening on Saturday, Sept. 15 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. at 697 Valley Street (Pierson's Mill), Maplewood.
The event will feature free mini-workshops on a variety of topics including meditation, Tai Chi, Somatics and nutrition, as well as chair massages and Reiki sessions.

"I can't wait for the open house so that the community can experience the many different types of practices and workshops that are taking place at Wellspring," said co-owner Sue Rexford of Bodhi Tree Massage.
Rexford opened the collective in May with Martha Peterson of Essential Somatics and Lynda Rountree of Green Heart Aromatherapy and Massage.

"We came together so that we could provide a space for alternative health care practices to be provided to the community in one space," said Rexford. "We have had incredible support from the community so far."
Wellspring Health Collective offers Hanna Somatics for muscle pain relief, various types of massage therapy, aromatherapy, psychotherapy, child birth education, nutritional counseling, Tai Chi classes, mindfulness meditation classes, a Reiki practice group and massage skills for caregiver’s workshops.
