Here are some primary races in Millburn, Maplewood, and more on Tuesday. Early voting is this weekend.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Just because there's no presidential primary this year, doesn't mean you should avoid voting on Primary Election Day Tuesday (or sooner) in New Jersey.
In a primary, candidates vie to be the nominee for their party. Then they face the opposing party in November, and independents can also enter the race.
Several local races are contested in the primary.
