MARLBORO, NJ — A New Jersey man has been arrested and charged in connection with a home burglary in Marlboro, with police still searching for other suspects, Marlboro Police Lt. Jonathan Gramcko said.

On Monday, Marlboro Police responded to a report of suspicious activity at a home on Bramble Drive.

According to Gramcko, a nearby resident saw multiple people leaving a dark-colored Honda Odyssey and approaching the home, with one person dressed to look like an Amazon delivery driver.

The group was seen heading toward the side of the home before the vehicle left the area, police said.

Once officers arrived at the scene, they found signs of forced entry at the back of the home, and a search confirmed that a burglary had occurred.

While the home was disturbed, no property was reported stolen at the time of the investigation. Doorbell camera footage showed three masked people wearing gloves, hats, and satchels approaching the home shortly before the break-in.

A vehicle matching the description of the one seen at the home was then found on Mount Laurel Road.

Following a police investigation, a 38-year-old man from Guttenberg, NJ, was detained and arrested in connection with the burglary before being lodged in the Monmouth County Correctional Institution. Police did not release the name of the man arrested.

Investigation into the incident remains ongoing, with police working to identify the other people involved.

Authorities are also working to determine whether the incident is connected to any similar cases in the area. In July, four people were arrested and charged in connection with attempted home burglaries in Marlboro.

Anyone with additional information or surveillance footage related to the incident is urged to contact Detective Adam Levine at (732) 536-0100 x1124.
