$50,000 Winning Powerball Ticket Sold In Marlboro

One lucky person who bought a Powerball ticket at a Marlboro gas station won $50,000, as Powerball rolls to $925 million.

MARLBORO, NJ — Someone who bought a Powerball ticket at a Marlboro gas station Wednesday is now a $50,000 winner, as the Powerball jackpot for Saturday rolls to $925 million.

Four New Jersey Lottery tickets - including the one sold in Marlboro - matched four of the five white balls in the Powerball drawing Sept. 27, winning the $50,000 second-tier prize.

The winning Marlboro ticket was sold at RS Fuel LLC, 70 Route 9 in Morganville, according to the New Jersey Lottery office.

The other $50,000 winning tickets were sold at:

  • Bergen County: Northvale Gas, 264 Livingston St., Northvale.
  • Essex County: Breeze Laundromat, 63 Pacific St., Newark.
  • Essex County: Guardys, 403-409 Bloomfield Ave. Newark.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday, Sept. 27, drawing were: 01, 07, 46, 47, and 63. The Red Powerball number was 07. The Power Play was 3X. And 91,821 New Jersey players took home an estimated $514,674 in prizes ranging from $4 to $300, the state lottery office said.

The Powerball jackpot rolls to $925 million for the next drawing to be held Saturday, Sept. 30, at 10:59 pm.

Double Play is an additional drawing for players who opted into the Double Play feature on their tickets. The Double Play results for the Wednesday, Sept. 27, drawing were: 10, 25, 51, 52 and 63. The Double Play Ball number was 01.
