94-Year-Old Marlboro Man Dies Following Crash On CR 537: Police

The crash occurred Monday night in Millstone when NJ State Police said a vehicle crossed the center line and impacted two other vehicles.

MARLBORO, NJ — A 94-year-old man from Marlboro died of his injuries following a motor vehicle crash on County Road 537 on Monday night, NJ State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said.

The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Monday when troopers responded to a motor vehicle crash on CR 537 near west milepost 43.2 in Millstone Township.

Based on a preliminary investigation, Lebron said a Lincoln Continental was traveling east on CR 537, and a Toyota Tundra and Infiniti G37 were traveling west when the Lincoln crossed the centerline and impacted the back of the Toyota in the west lane.

After the initial impact, Lebron said the Lincoln then impacted the front of the Infiniti.

As a result of the crash, the driver of the Lincoln, Sylvester Pace, 94, of Marlboro, sustained fatal injuries, according to police. No other injuries were reported.

The crash is currently under investigation, Lebron said, and no additional information is available at this time.
