Adopt-A-Family Collection Gets Underway By Marlboro Police

Donations of gift cards may be made via the Marlboro Township Police Department to help a local family in need.

MARLBORO, NJ — The Marlboro Township Police Department will be hosting its annual Adopt-A-Family Program this holiday season, and this year a family of five who have come upon some hard times is the recipient.

"The department has been made aware of a family that is in need. It is a family of five that has been experiencing some difficult times could use a little holiday cheer this season," the department said in a Facebook post.

The department is seeking donations in the form of gift cards to local establishments (no cash or checks).

Donations can be brought into Marlboro Police Headquarters, 1979 Township Drive, and will be collected until Wednesday, Dec. 21.
