Parolee From Marlboro Admits Having Cocaine, Heroin, Fentanyl

Christopher Johnson, 51, could face 10 years in state prison when he is sentenced in early February, prosecutors said.

MARLBORO, NJ — A Marlboro man who was already on parole has admitted to possessing a large amount of narcotics, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said.

During a hearing on Monday, Dec. 8, Christopher Johnson, 51, pleaded guilty to second-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance in an amount in excess of one-half ounce with the intent to distribute before Superior Court Judge Joseph W. Oxley.

Johnson’s guilty plea stems from a Fall 2024 investigation that involved members of the Freehold and Marlboro Township Police Departments, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics and Criminal Enterprise Unit, and the Narcotics Strike Force.
