Auto Auctions Business on Zoning Board Agenda This Week

A public hearing regarding Insurance Auto Auctions Corp. is scheduled for Tuesday at 8 p.m., according to the Zoning Board agenda.

In June, the business introduced a proposal for more access points to the property, two along Tylers Lane and two along Texas Road and relief from a current junkyard ordinance which requires all fluids to be drained from vehicles parked on the property.

Insurance Auto Auctions is an automotive auction company which sponsors live and internet bidding, according to its website. There are 150 locations across the country.

Smores BBQ

Dearborn Market in Holmdel is holding a fun-filled Smores event on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. No reservations necessary, come one come all!

It's a $10 entry, and guests can enjoy The Little Rockers Band.

School festival complete with fireworks

The St. Benedict Church annual school festival will be held on Labor Day Weekend, Aug. 30 through Sept. 1.

The Festival will have thrill rides and children’s rides from Ace Carnival.  There will be your traditional family fun trailer games offering prizes along with organized children’s activities, live entertainment and a spectacular fireworks show by Garden State Pyrotechnics on Saturday night, Aug. 31 that is not to be missed.
