Car Overturns, Catches Fire On Hartman Road In Marlboro
The two people inside the car escaped with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
MARLBORO, NJ — A car overturned and caught on fire on Hartman Road on Monday night, according to the Marlboro Police department.
The two people inside managed to get out of the black BMW before it became engulfed in flames, according to police.
Both the driver, a 23-year old man from Toms River, and the passenger, a 21-year-old woman from Jackson, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

The incident happened at around 11:53 p.m. Hartman Road was closed at the ramp from Route 18 South for about seven hours.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, police said on Tuesday.

Responding to the scene were members of the Marlboro Police Department, Robertsville Volunteer Fire Company, Morganville Fire Department, Morganville First Aid Squad, Marlboro First Aid Squad, NJ Department of Transportation and medics from Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
