Colts Neck Creates Agricultural Advisory Committee
The purchase of Cicalese Farm is a joint venture with the Monmouth County Agriculture Development Board.

In an effort to preserve the 16-acre Cicalese Farm in Colts Neck, the Township Committee created an Agricultural Advisory Committee, according to The News Transcript.
The committee exists as a sub-committee to Open Space and Farmland, and has three members. This fulfills the township's requirement to receive money from the state when purchasing the property or future properties.
Cicalese Farm is a joint venture with the Monmouth County Agriculture Development Board, according to The News Transcript. Colts Neck expects to pay $144,000 for the $880,000 purchase, offset by grants from the state.
Two AAC members will serve one-year terms and one member will serve a two-year term.
