Colts Neck Planners To Hear Application For 360-Apartment Complex

COLTS NECK, NJ — The Colts Neck Planning Board is going to hear an application for a 360-apartment complex at a meeting on Tuesday.

The project is called Colts Neck Manor and will be located close to the intersection of Route 537 and Route 18.

It will be divided into 15 three-story buildings, with 180 one-bedroom apartments, 166 two-bedroom apartments and 14 three-bedroom apartments, according to Asbury Park Press.

The project includes a total of 72 affordable housing units. A settlement from March 18 states that Colts Neck has to provide 306 affordable housing units, in accordance to the state's affordable housing laws, the online publication wrote.

The board will also hear an application for a conditional use permit and preliminary and final major site plan to build a 400 seat place of worship close to the intersection of Route 537 and Twin Lakes Drive .
