Council Appoints New Marlboro Zoning Board Member

Michael Adler will take over the vacant Zoning Board seat.

The Marlboro Town Council approved a news Zoning Board member to fill a vacant seat, naming Michael Adler as the newsest on the board.

Council President Jeff Cantor said he interviewed three people for the position before the council voted on an appointement last week, including former council candidate Marianne Longobardi.

"All [candidates] really stepped up, they are willing to participate in the process and all want to get involved in the community," Cantor said.

Adler, Lou Wildman and Longobardi were all interviewed for the position, which comes down to a council appointment.

"I have had the opportunity to work with Michael Adler on a few programs around town, and he is a very strong candidate," Councilman Frank LaRocca said.

Councilwoman Carol Mazzola said she had not had the opportunity to speak with Adler, and abstained from the vote.
