Creative Arts Festival Coming To Monmouth County

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — The Monmouth County Park System is hosting its annual Creative Arts Festival on Saturday, May 7. The festival will showcase the work of specially chosen artists in pottery, jewelry, paintings and other mediums.

The festival will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Thompson Park, 805 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft. Visitors can enjoy live musical performances by the Haven, Zydeco Revelators, the Band of the Two Rivers, Musicians on a Mission and others throughout the event.

The festival also includes free activities and artist demonstrations by Kate Grady, Konstantin Zingerman, and Kristen Knc. Rug hooking demonstrations will also be given by the Association of Traditional Hooking Artists. A belly-dancing demonstration is also planned.

Admission and parking for the festival are free.
