Dolores C. Bottini of Colts Neck Dies at 76

Dolores C. Bottini (nee Straub) 76, of Colts Neck passed away Tuesday, Oct. 16 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel.

Born in Newark Dolores lived in Scotch Plains prior to moving to Colts Neck 33 years ago. Mrs. Bottini worked as an executive assistant for Boyle Midway in Cranford, Fischer Scientific in Springfield and West Valley Restoration in Colts Neck. She also worked as a real estate broker agent for Heritage House Sotheby's in Holmdel.

Dolores was predeceased by her sister, Georgette Duffy, and is survived by her husband of 57 years, Guy Bottini; daughter, Doreen Rivell; son-in-law, John; three grandchildren, Thomas, Aileen and Weston Rivell, and two sisters, Joan Lewis and Carol Sullivan.

With her determined, no nonsense spirit, Dolores, also known as Dori, will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Mrs. Bottini's name to Affirmation Academy (Elementary School), 44 Irvine Turner Blvd., Newark 07103.

Visitation will be held Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Rd., Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's R.C. Church in Colts Neck. Interment will be in the Holmdel Cemetery.
