8th Annual Walk to Defeat ALS

The ALS Association Greater New York Chapter will host the Walk to Defeat ALS fundraiser in Long Branch, New Jersey on Sunday, May 19th, 10:30 am. Start Line is on the Great Lawn. Walk takes place along the Promenade. 


The walk is wheelchair and stroller accessible.  Before and after the walk there will be family friendly activities such as face painting, live music, mascots, refreshments, and other fun & games.

Proceeds from the event will go to The ALS Association Greater New York Chapter. As one of The ALS Association's leading chapters, the Greater New York Chapter covers Northern & Central New Jersey, New York City, Long Island, Westchester County, and the Hudson Valley, and plays a major role in promoting the mission to lead the fight to cure and treat ALS. The ALS Association is the only national nonprofit voluntary health organization dedicated solely to the fight against ALS. ALSA is a member of the National Health Council.
