Marlboro's 5th Annual Bike and Stroll

The 5th annual Marlboro Mayor's Ice Cream Bike and Stroll will utilize the Henry Hudson Trail to recognize both this notable occasion and a valuable local attribute. 


"With the trail, we getbenefits mentally, physically and environmentally so our Green Team created this event to promote it as a sustainable alternative form of recreation and transportation," said Councilman Frank LaRocca who founded and leads the Marlboro Township Green Team. "The Bike and Stroll is free to the public, uses no fuel, and the donated ice cream is a welcome treat to finish theevent.” 


The distance to bike or stroll is up to the participants, however event coordinators provide suggested turn around points.

Stewart's Restaurant of Marlboro will provide free ice cream for event participants. In addition, Stewarts, along with the Bicycle Hub, the law firm of LaRocca, Hornik, Rosen, Greenberg & Blaha, and members of the Marlboro Township Green Team are co-sponsoring the free reusable water bottles that will be given to event participants. 


The Marlboro Mayor's Ice Cream Bike and Stroll is Saturday, June 1st starting 2:00PM, at the Bicycle Hub, 239 Route 79. Parking is available at the Regal Plaza across the street at Blossom Avenue and Route 79. All ages, walkers, bicycles, tricycles and dogs on leashes are welcome.
