Jersey Freeze Now Hiring For New Colts Neck Location

COLTS NECK, NJ — As Jersey Freeze prepares to open its newest location in Colts Neck, the ice cream shop recently announced that they are now hiring to build their new team.

Set to open on 340 NJ-34 in a few weeks, the new shop will be Jersey Freeze’s third location alongside the Jersey Freeze in Freehold and the Jersey Freeze inside Bell Works in Holmdel.

On Saturday, Jersey Freeze took to social media to announce that they’re now hiring for the Colts Neck location.

Those 16 years old or older and ready to work year-round (including weekends and evenings) are encouraged to apply. Training will take place at the Holmdel location.

To send in an application, officials said applicants can email Jersey Freeze at jerseyfreeze1952@gmail.com with the subject line “Colts Neck Applicant.”

“This isn’t just a seasonal gig — it’s a chance to join a tight-knit crew that keeps things running all year long,” Jersey Freeze officials said. “We’re coming soon, Colts Neck
— can’t wait to meet you!”

Known for their soft serve ice cream and expansive menu, Jersey Freeze was founded in 1952 by the Blackmore family before becoming a local go-to spot for fast food and ice cream in the 1970s, according to their website.

The current owners, Katie DiNonno and Matt Cangialosi, purchased Jersey Freeze from Bruce Blackmore in 2014 and have been managing the restaurant ever since.

In March 2020, they opened their second location at Bell Works in Holmdel and will soon open their third in Colts Neck.
