June Crime Falls in Marlboro, Rises Slightly in Colts Neck
The Uniform Crime Report is released monthly, comparing each month to its counterpart in the previous year.

Crime in June rose slightly in Colts Neck compared to the same time last year, while it fell in Marlboro, according to the Uniform Crime Report.
In Marlboro, simple assault rose to 11 reported incidents compared to five last June. However, last June there were 23 reports of larceny while this year police reported 13.
In total, Marlboro saw 31 criminal reports versus 37 last year, marking a 16.2 percent decrease.
Colts Neck had 10 reports of criminal activity versus six last year, a 66.7 percent increase. There was one simple assault and five reports of larceny. No violent crime was reported.
