Kim To Update Constituents At Marlboro Town Hall Event Friday
Performance by students from Marlboro's Huaxia South Chinese School will highlight 63rd town hall by Rep. Andy Kim, D-3rd District, Friday.

MARLBORO, NJ — Congressman Andy Kim (D- District 3) will have his monthly town hall this Friday, May 19, at 6 p.m. in Marlboro - and it will include a performance by students from an area Chinese school.
Kim's 63rd monthly town hall will be a chance for Kim to hear from neighbors, share updates from his work in Congress, and celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month, his staff said.
The town hall will begin with a performance by students from Marlboro’s Huaxia South Chinese School, a nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching Chinese language and promoting Chinese culture.

The event will take place at 6 p.m. at The Little Theater (Room C101) at 95 N Main St, Marlboro, 07746. All attendees should use the Main Athletics Entrance.
In recognition of AANHPI Heritage Month, Congressman Kim will speak about his efforts to uplift the AAPI community, including legislative priorities to combat hate and violence, and his continued efforts to honor Asian American history and culture with a national museum in Washington, DC, which is under commission study under legislation signed by President Biden.

He will also highlight his most recent work to support small businesses’ access to loans and key programs, ban stock trading across the three branches of government, combat gun violence, and uplift local students’ talent and accomplishments, including through the Congressional Art Competition and Service Academy nominations.
Kim is the ranking member on the Military Personnel Subcommittee, and a member of the House Armed Services Committee, the Foreign Affairs Committee, and the Select Committee on China.
