Marlboro Car Accident Closes Part of Route 520: Police

Marlboro police will update the status of Route 520 as repair work continues Sunday evening.

MARLBORO, NJ — Route 520 was still closed as of about 8 p.m. on Sunday after a car hit a pole in an accident earlier in the afternoon, police reported.

The road has been closed between Crine Road and Emerald Drive while JCP&L continues its work, police said.

The accident has been cleared. There were not specifics on the accident itself, but police said it was not a critical accident.

All lanes of travel, eastbound and westbound, are impassable, police said.

Police said updates will be posted on the police Facebook page as additional information comes in.
