This is one of a series of recent arrests:

Two people were charged by Marlboro police detectives with stealing a vehicle on June 19 from the parking lot of Maple Tree Plaza, South Main Street.

Then earlier in June two suspects were in connection with attempted car thefts on Church Road, police said.

The incidents from Sunday morning are still being actively investigated and more arrests and charges may be forthcoming, police said.

"We would like to thank the homeowner for staying vigilant and reporting the suspicious activity in their neighborhood," police said in a social media post.

Mayor Jon Hornik and Chief Peter Pezzullo would also like to remind all members of the community of the township initiative: "If you See Something, Say Something, and We Will Do Something," police said.
