Marlboro-Colts Neck Area Still Waiting For Full Power Restoration
Marlboro was down to 169 customers out of power as of Tuesday 5 p.m.; Colts Neck at 396 outages, according to JCP&L online updates.

MARLBORO-COLTS NECK, NJ — Several hundred customers were still waiting for power to be restored Tuesday evening after storms early Monday downed trees - and electrical wires - in Colts Neck and Marlboro.
As of 5 p.m. Tuesday, Colts Neck was down to 396 outages; Marlboro 169.
Marlboro had opened a warming center all night on Monday night at the Recreation Center, and officials said the center will be open Tuesday to at least 11:30 p.m. - or as long as a resident feels it is needed.

In Colts Neck, while there has not been a specific warming center, township officials said police and Office of Emergency Management personnel have been interacting with residents and available to offer help as needed.

Monmouth County total outages were now 755 as of Tuesday night, down from a high of 11,000 outages Monday morning after the overnight storm that saw flooding and wires down around the state.
