Marlboro Creates Traffic Advisory Committee

The first meeting will be in October.

Marlboro Township is looking for volunteers for its newly created Traffic Advisory Committee, which was created at the township's last council meeting.

Chaired by Councilman Scott Metzger, the committee will work with the Township Planner, Police Traffic and Safety Officer and a representative from Mayor Jon Hornik's office.

According to a township news release, the committee's job would be to "determine areas in town that may require traffic adjustments and when necessary petition the appropriate state or county Department of Transportation for assistance and relief."

Meetings would be Tuesday nights and volunteers will be appointed by the Mayor. Intersted volunteers can email credentials and contact information to mayor@marlboro-nj.gov by Oct. 1.
