A fire broke out on Friday morning on the second story of a Conover Road home, according to Marlboro police. The fire originated in a bedroom around 8:30 a.m., no injuries were reported on the scene. Police Captain Steve Mennona said the cause of the fire is still under investigation, but a running generator may have been the cause. Mennona said all township departments responded to the fire, which was knocked down around a little after 9 a.m.
